For vertical installation with aluminium joists: for stable and circular installation, we strongly recommend you use Grad® clip grips. This extremely handy tool enables you to lock the cladding boards on the aluminium rail and prevents any slipping due to gravity. One clip grip per groove is enough for each board.
Please note: Minor surface damage to the outer layer of the charred wood may occur during transportation, handling, installation or through impacts after installation. This damage is inherent to the nature of burnt wood. Carpentier accepts no liability for this.
Maintenance recommendations: charred wood requires regular maintenance with a suitable sealer in order to preserve its appearance and protect it. For this, we recommend Wood Hydro Shield SSB in black matte. Always follow the instructions for use.
