For the extension of their own office, 2PK Architecten chose closed joint cladding in HOTwood pine Ignite. This tongue-and-groove profile with a charred look is coloured black, brushed and relief has been created in the texture, closely imitating the characteristic pattern of charred wood. Ignite thus offers a stylish alternative to Shou Sugi Ban, without the fragile charred layer of traditionally burnt wood.
