Added advantages of HOTwood pine decking boards
Our HOTwood pine decking is planed smooth on all sides. The slight convexity of the upper surface ensures that water is effectively channelled off, thus helping them dry quickly after rain. This is important to prevent moss formation and slipperiness.
The colour of thermo pine decking is appealing and warm, in time weathering to a lovely, even grey.
Thermo pine decking planks are 26 mm thick by 118 mm wide. We also supply edge boards to hide and protect the ends of decking boards. If you opt to leave board ends uncovered, we recommend you apply a water-based protective agent to prevent end-checking and cracking.

Advice from our wood specialists
Grad® decking risers are ideal for installing a deck using QuickClip® decking boards on an uneven surface. You can create a solid base for the wooden deck of your choice by simply clicking on aluminium joists for our HOTwood decking boards. Decking risers are also a great solution when installing a raised deck. A single model of the adjustable decking risers can bridge height differences from 100 mm to 1 m.
Other tools, such as elastomer strips, clip grips, brackets and Top Cubes are also available. These are very useful, ensuring quick and easy installation and the best results.
Furthermore, we offer deck edging in the same variety of wood as the decking boards. The edging comes in several sizes, with or without a groove.
After installation, simply lift QuickClip® decking boards using a set of disassembly keys – a convenient option when you need to access the area under a deck or want to create a new configuration. What’s more, our QuickClip® decking boards can be easily reinstalled.
Did you know?
In the event of an impact, decking boards fitted using clips can slide. To make sure the boards stay firmly in place, professionals often resort to using glue. But doing this would negate the circularity of our QuickClip® products. That’s why we recommend using Grad® clip grips. This practical tool keeps the decking boards firmly locked onto the aluminium rail, without stopping them from being easy to dismantle and, therefore, circular in nature. One clip grip per board is enough to prevent any sliding.
