With this project for Curam, a mental health clinic located in Ypres, BEEL Architecten opted for a combination of wood and concrete. The timber cladding, in a subtle shade of green, enables the building to blend harmoniously into the green surroundings and helps create a peaceful atmosphere, aiding recovery. It also meets the reaction to fire standard required for non-residential buildings (B-s1,d0).
