Thermo ash cladding passive house Heist-op-den-Berg


There are three parts to this passive new-build: the main residence, a separate guest accommodation, and a garage with a garden building. The façades are clad in HOTwood ash, finished with an oil in the on-trend Emerald colour. This treatment really makes the wood stand out, while also protecting it. Carpentier supplied the wood and also advised on the choice of colour. As the light changes, the blue-green tone appears bluer or blacker – the nuances are subtle and original.
