Edging a deck with wooden trims
A flawless finish with deck edging gives your wooden deck a clean and professional look. Whether you are after a modern or rustic style, decking edge trims are an attractive, durable and clever solution.
We offer a wide range of wooden deck edging, available in a variety of wood: HOTwood ash, HOTwood pine, HOTwood bamboo, Accoya and Kebony. The decking edge boards are carefully selected to ensure a high quality, professional finish.
Why edge a deck?
- To protect board ends from bad weather*.
- To prevent weeds growing along the sides.
- So that the decking looks smart.
- To prolong the life of the decking.
*If the ends are not covered, we recommend you protect them with a water-based protective agent for end-grain wood to prevent splitting and cracking.

A decking edge trim for every deck
Carpentier has an extensive choice of round or square edged decking trims, suitable for every kind of deck. Whether you are using the Grad® system or a traditional structure, we have deck edging and installation solutions for a lasting and stylish deck finish. We offer trims designed for planks without grooves which are fitted without using the clip system.
For decks that are raised or sit on decking risers, a wider trim might be required to hide the whole structure. You can fit it with or without a Grad® Top Cube, depending on what type of edging you choose. We are happy to advise you on the right deck edging and the best installation method for your deck.
